Careers at JRAD
Build the Future of Magnetic Conveyance
JRAD is developing a next-generation magnetic conveyance system built on a paired architecture: active coil arrays onboard TPU-based conveyance pods interacting with engineered ferromagnetic rails as the reaction partner. Our work investigates whether AI-assisted magnetic conveyance can deliver lower failure rates, reduced wear, and more predictable performance than conventional mechanical systems.
JRAD is not a traditional aerospace or robotics company. We are a magnetic-systems engineering organization focused on reliability, stability, and long-duration performance in industrial environments where uptime matters.
Why Work at JRAD
JRAD’s engineering culture is built around precision, clarity, and disciplined experimentation. Every role contributes directly to the development of a full-stack magnetic conveyance ecosystem — from coil arrays to ferromagnetic rails to the AI systems that monitor them.
What you’ll work on:
- AI-driven reliability systems
- Distributed coil control and duty-cycle rotation
- Ferromagnetic rail engineering and sensor integration
- TPU conveyance pod design and structural tray systems
- Gap-stability control loops and field-response modeling
- Prototype development and real-world testing
What we offer:
- Small, elite engineering teams with high autonomy
- Equity-driven compensation for core contributors
- Mission-focused culture with zero bureaucracy
- Direct collaboration with the Founder & Vision Architect
- A chance to build a first-in-industry magnetic conveyance platform
